In August, 2002, Charlie Morrison and I went to Cincinnati Woodworks to pick up the new wood body for Woody II. Chip Kussmaul, owner of Cincinnati Woodworks gave us a tour of his shop before we loaded the body and headed back to Virginia.
Original wood patterns for '42-'48 Ford Woodies hang on the wall ready for use. '41 Woodies are significantly different, particularly the rear doors and quarter panels. Chip makes '41 parts also, but needs several orders in hand before he starts production.
Chip checks progress on assembly of a quarter panel. Another quarter panel sits on the floor in the background to the left.
My front doors being moved outside.
The entire wood body, except for the roof assembly, ready to load.
